Dyslexia Characteristics
The following checklists are general characteristics. Checking off the some or the majority DOES NOT mean your child has dyslexia. Ben Bolt - Palito Blanco ISD posts this as a review guide. If you feel your child has some characteristics, review the guide with your child's teacher. Your child's teacher will then review the process of testing and identification. Please note by rules set out by the Texas Education Agency, students in grades kindergarten and first grade shall be monitored and/or tested for dyslexia should a literacy screener show such results.
