Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Elementary

We have updated some of our practices. To protect our students and staff, we ask that all visitors use the following procedures upon entering our school:
  • Enter the school ONLY through the school's front doors.
  • Report directly to the front office upon entry.
  • Sign-in, present photo identification (e.g. driver's license) and obtain a pass before visiting halls or classrooms.
If you or someone else is picking up your child from school, we require that you send a written notification to the school. The notice should state the name of the individual to whom your child should be released, the time of the release, a contact number for confirmation, and the signature of the parent or guardian. The designated person must then come to the school office, show ID and sign the child out of school before he/she will be released.

TX House Bill 1481 BBPB ISD Student Cell Phone Policy

House Bill 1481

In compliance with Texas House Bill 1481, BBPB ISD will enforce a no use of personal electronic devices during school hours. From 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., students may not use cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, or any personal electronics while on campus, regardless of grade level. This state-mandated law is intended to reduce distractions and protect instructional time. The school district provides electronics for all students to use during the school day.

No Outside Food or Drink

🚫 No Outside Food at School
As part of our Campos Safety Plan and to help with campus logistics, outside food may no longer be dropped off during the school day.
🍱 Students may still bring lunch from home, but it must come with them in the morning in their lunch bag.
We appreciate your support in keeping our school safe and running smoothly!
