Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco ISD has prepared (2) instructional models that promote student engagement and safeguard the well-being of students and staff. BB-PB ISD offers parents and students the option to learn in a safe ON-CAMPUS environment or ONLINE from home. These options are designed to deliver quality instruction and observe mandates and recommendations from local and state officials.

In order to better serve students through efficient planning, it is very important that BB-PB ISD gather accurate data as to how many students will be on-campus and how many students will be learning online from home during the 3rd Nine-Weeks Grading Period (January 19-March 26, 2021).

Please select the option that works best for your child at this time. BB-PB ISD asks that you complete the commitment form no later than January 13, 2021.

Option 1: BB-PB ISD On-Campus. Students will attend classes at their assigned campus and will receive face-to-face instruction by their assigned teacher(s). 90% attendance is required with truancy laws in effect.

Option 2: BB-PB ISD ONLINE-100% online instruction (including tests) from home. Students will attend class(es) as well as complete work from a distant setting. 90% attendance is required with truancy laws in effect.

Students will not be allowed to move from Option to Option until after the end of the nine weeks grading period. Changing options is allowed during the school year, but will only be allowed at the end of each 9-week grading period. Extenuating circumstances may occur requiring principal approval.

Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco ISD will provide flexibility to both parents and campuses to make decisions based on the ever-changing conditions of this public health crisis.
