Ms. Sawyer

Welcome back! I hope you had a restful summer. My name is Ms. Sawyer and I teach 6th grade Math/Science at Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Elementary.

I taught eight years at Agua Dulce ISD (2005-2013) teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten and Fourth grade. Next, I spent three years (2013-2016) with Brooks County ISD as a Literacy Coach through the Texas Literacy Initiative. I spent one year (2016-2017) in Premont ISD as a Literacy Coach and I also taught Fifth grade. In (2017-2018), I became a Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Badger!

Education: I attended Texas A&M-Kingsville (Go Hogs!!) earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications (1999), a Master’s Degree in Sociology (2002), Principal certification and Superintendent certification.
